Supplier Selection

Facility Shield FM selects suppliers based on quality, reliability, value for money, and their ability to support our security and facilities services. We assess relevant experience, certifications, financial stability, and health and safety performance. Wherever possible, we work with suppliers who share our commitment to legal compliance, ethical conduct, and high service standards. New suppliers are only approved once due diligence checks are complete.

Performance Monitoring

We monitor supplier performance on an ongoing basis to ensure services remain safe, compliant, and effective. This may include KPIs, site inspections, feedback from our teams and clients, and regular review meetings. Where performance falls below the required standard, we agree corrective actions and timescales. Continued poor performance or serious breaches of contract may lead to suspension or termination of the supplier relationship.

Ethical Sourcing

Facility Shield FM aims to work with suppliers who respect human rights, promote fair working conditions, and minimise harm to the environment. We expect suppliers to comply with relevant UK legislation on labour, modern slavery, equality, and environmental protection. Where appropriate, we may request evidence of policies, certifications, or improvement plans. We will review concerns about unethical practices and may end relationships with suppliers who fail to address serious issues.
