Service Agreement
Facility Shield FM provides security and facilities management services in accordance with the written proposal, specification, or contract agreed with each client. The scope of work, service hours, locations, and fees are set out in those documents and may be updated by mutual agreement in writing.
We will use reasonable skill and care in delivering our services, in line with relevant legislation and industry standards, and the client will provide the access, information, and cooperation needed for us to do so.
User Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about their premises, risks, and requirements, and for promptly informing Facility Shield FM of any changes that may affect the delivery of services.
Clients must ensure that our staff have safe access to the site and suitable welfare facilities, and that any client-owned equipment used in connection with the services is safe and fit for purpose. Clients must also comply with applicable laws and site rules relevant to the services provided.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Facility Shield FM’s liability to the client for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the amount of fees paid or payable for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
